What should I consider when booking an apartment in London?

All of our short term rentals are non-smoking.

Make sure that your apartment has central heating if youre visiting the city over the winter as temperatures will often be below freezing.

Most of our self-catering apartments are small and comfortable, and ideally suited for groups of four to five people.

London is a huge city, so bear in mind that, unless youve got a big budget, youll need to make use of public transport to get around. Thankfully the London underground system is second biggest in the world with regular services to more than 250 stations

Im new to the city, which area should I stay in?

Central London: Home to most of the iconic sights in London, and countless plush apartments, this area is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the world. From Big Ben to Buckingham Palace, there are photo opportunities on every corner. This is also where youll find most of Londons top theatres.

Kensington: A chic residential area close to Hyde Park, this is a highly desirable part of the city that provides easy access to the city centre. It is also home to the famous Ritz Hotel and its famously expensive afternoon tea, one of the most quintessentially English institutions in the city. If youre after a cheap holiday however, this area probably isnt for you.

Marylebone: This wealthy part of inner city London is situated between Hyde Park and Regents Park, and has many traditional apartment buildings. Its location is ideal for exploring central London. One of the citys most famous thoroughfares, Barker Street, runs through this district.

Notting Hill: This famously cosmopolitan district is one of the hippest areas in the city, largely due to the influence of West Indian immigrants who flocked to the area and its cheap rent in the 1950s. Today however the area has been thoroughly gentrified and is known for the affluent inhabitants of its large Victorian terraced houses.
